Friendly helpful staff, the fish ponds were lovely, rooms great we will be staying there again
the ease of booking in and departure, the reception staff and good parking
no milk in anotherwise well stocked fridge and a small item left behind by a previous guest might tend to make one feel the room was not cleaned thoroughly
I had to make a number of calls with the booking my stay at the Stamford Grand North Ryde, and each time I dealt with very courteous & helpful staff. On arriving, and booking in we were treated very well and again with polite and courteous staff. Our room was clean, and very spacious. We had upgraded to an executive suite. The surroundings at this hotel were well kept and clean. We had a full breakfast the next morning and again, we couldn't fault the food and service. I would be happy to stay there again
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel or our stay there
We found it to be very welcoming and most comfortable.....The staff were very helpful and friendly and the underground parking is ideal for our Jaguar. A bit of a drive to the City centre , but once we worked out how to get there.....no problems...glady stay again......Great rooms too
The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and more than adequate.
The exterior of the hotel did look a little "tired"
well located clean comfortable & quiet, helpful staff ,easily accessible central to city shops and freeways
The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out was very quick and easy.
check in and room service were excellent. hotel was nicely appointed and free parking and plenty of it was a nice surprise.
room starting to look dated.
Excellent facilities & all staff were polite and helpful
Very pleasant, great location and excellent service
The staff were very helpful. My daughter needed to be in the city on the day we checked out and we were able to collect our car later in the day. Everything we were told about having ticket validated etc was true. I expected to pay extra for this service but it was included. We made use of the pool facilities and enjoyed these very much.
Location - not too far from the city and easily accessible to public transport. Good-sized rooms - far more spacious than many city hotels. Breakfast - choice and quality of food was outstanding.
Staff were friendly and helpful, but the checkout process was very cumbersome and slow (especially as I told staff we were in a hurry). Free wi-fi would have been appreciated, as many other hotels provide it.
Location was convenient. Cheaper than "Four Seasons".
It took *5* yes 5 phone calls to get the internet working. There were at least two separate problems. I do not appreciate being told that the problem is "not at our end" - I want it fixed. Then there were numerous calls because I could not sign on due to the system not knowing my name/room number. And why did no-one tell me the internet was down when I arrived, causing me to waste a lot of time in futile attempts to get it working. Also the internet instructions in the book in the room are wrong eg no mention of wireless! Utterly hopeless. I found the parking system very confusing. Arriving in the dark I put my cards in the slot near the flashing light which was. I eventually found out, the wrong place. The correct place was elsewhere, an unlit poorly labelled spot completely invisible to me in the dark. The attitude of the desk staff that I was somehow supposed to magically know what to do and to see in the dark did not help at all.
Entrance to hotel was difficult. I also had to carry my bags a flight of stairs. Would not recommend it to physically challenged guests.
Staff were always there to assist even with little things. I was also upgrade on this trip which was very unexpected. I also like the choice of parking either open air or undercover.
Would like to see free Wifi offered. Now very much a feature of hotels around the World.
